Elise A. Stokes

M.S.Ed, BCBA, LABA

Elise Stokes is a licensed Special Education Administrator and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Additionally, she holds a graduate certificate in Social Emotional Learning and is a DESE trainer for the Leading Educational Access Program. Her work emphasizes a growth mindset and prioritizes authentic human connections as the foundation for all learning.

For more than two decades, Elise has been dedicated to public schools: initially as a classroom teacher and specialized program coordinator, and later as a consultant. Her consultation work is focused on creating high quality systems and practices that support the success of every student. Elise applies an equity lens in her consultation and evaluations to highlight strengths, offer recommendations, and guide districts/ teams to prioritize and implement action steps for improvement.  

Elise is an enthusiastic promoter of best practices in education, sharing her expertise through professional development and supportive coaching for staff around behavioral, educational, and social-emotional supports for all students. Over the years, Elise has led hundreds of interactive Professional Learning workshops and has presented her work at many national and regional conferences. She has taught graduate courses in special education and ABA at Endicott College, and supervised fieldwork for BCBA candidates at Simmons College. In addition to her work at CASE, Elise enjoys teaching graduate courses in Social Emotional Learning at Bridgewater State University.
